The Sydney AI safety community has a regular gathering point again. This is a low-key meetup where people working on alignment problems, interpretability, governance, or adjacent areas swap what they're working on and meet others in the space. It's deliberately casual, so you'll find researchers, engineers, policy people, and those just getting into the field all talking shop over drinks. Expect conversations to range from technical deep dives to "how do I actually break into this area," which makes it useful whether you're already embedded or exploring the field. Good if you want to understand what people in Sydney are actually doing on safety, rather than just reading papers.
